John Boyega praises Oscar Isaac’s Knight of the Moon performance Boyega and Isaac originally met and became friends when they were both cast in lead roles in The War of the galaxies sequel trilogy, like Finn and Poe, respectively. Since the last film in the trilogy ended, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalkerthe two have remained working in the film industry, with Boyega playing roles in films such as Naked singularity and the next The King Woman, as well as he ventured into roles in television series, such as Small ax anthology series. Meanwhile, Isaac has starred in films like duneand also ventured into the roles of the television series, as with his roles in Scenes from a marriage and the Marvel Cinematic Universe Knight of the Moon.
Knight of the Moon follows Marc Spector, a Jewish-American mercenary who suffers from dissociative identity disorder (DID) and is drawn into a dangerous mystery involving Egyptian gods with their multiple alters, including one of his identities, a store worker from the British museum called Steven Grant. Launching earlier this year on Disney+, the series became a hit for Marvel and Disney+, garnering strong ratings and critical acclaim, with critics praising Isaac’s performance and Moon Knight’s treatment of mental health problems.
Now, Boyega has given love to his former co-star Knight of the Moon performance In a recent interview with Men’s Health, Boyega was asked a few quick questions, one of which was about what TV series he’s currently on. Check out Boyega’s response below:
“Knight of the Moon. My boy Oscar [Isaac]He has a British accent. It’s great, you know what I mean?
As Marc Spector, Isaac not only took on the task of portraying a very complex and complex character, but he is an MCU hero. Fortunately, naturally, having a main role as X-wing fighter pilot Poe in three War of the galaxies The movies, shortly before he took on the superhero role, gave Oscar a head start in this new endeavor. In the same way, both the War of the galaxies trilogy film sequels and Knight of the Moon are fantastic action-adventure productions in two mega-franchises of films. Although there were of course other factors and projects that Oscar has been in that prepared him for his performance Knight of the Moonit’s good to reconnect him with his work al War of the galaxies world, when he befriended Boyega, who now praises him.
Although Isaac already won many critics with his Knight of the Moon performance, it’s best to know that he has the support of his friends, like Boyega. And this isn’t the first time Boyega has publicly supported Isaac, either. Boyega promoted the first photo of Isaac dune on Instagram when it was an upcoming movie. It may be unlikely that we will see the return of the friends who played the War of the galaxies franchise soon, but Isaac and Boyega still have plenty of opportunities to hook up in future projects, and even better, it’s clear that the two men remain bona fide friends off-screen.
