Destiny 2: How To Get Acrius Legend (Exotic Heavy Shotgun)
Destiny 2’s Acrius Legend is an Exotic Heavy Shotgun that is great for DPS, and players were able to acquire from the Leviathan Raid.
Legend of Acrius is an exotic heavy shotgun Destination 2 which was added with the Leviathan Raid during the Red War. This powerful bow weapon over-penetrates enemies and is capable of hitting multiple targets with feather scatter. Arc 3.0 subclasses are being introduced in Season 18, and Legend of Acrius could benefit from some of the new shards and skins. The exotic was previously earned as part of a quest chain in the Leviathan Raid, but now Guardians will need to purchase the weapon to add to their collection.
Unlike the current Raid Exotics Destination 2, Legend of Acrius was not a random drop from completing this endgame activity. Instead, players received an item after defeating a random Cabal enemy, which started the quest chain. This required the Guardians to complete public events and complete the Leviathan Raid. Afterwards, they were given a special version of the Arm’s Dealer Strike, which rewarded the exotic. The legend of Acrius could be further improved by completing even more steps. Fortunately, players no longer have to go through this long chain of quests to get the exotic.
The removal of the Leviathan Raid removed the ability to acquire the Legend of Acrius. Currently, many of the past exotics that were attached to quests can now be purchased from the Monument of Lost Lights in the Tower. This kiosk contains weapons that were previously unobtainable from each expansion Destination 2. Those looking to buy Legend of Acrius will need 150,000 Glimmer, an Exotic Cipher, 240 Spoils of Conquest, and 2 Ascendant Shards. These last two materials are the hardest to get because they require the Guardians to challenge the endgame content. Conquest loot is rewarded for opening bounty chests in a raid. Ascending Shards are dropped from high difficulty Nightfalls. Alternatively, Master Rahool will turn 10 Enhancing Prisms into a Shard.
How to get Legend Of Acrius (and Catalyst) in Destiny 2
Acrius Legend no longer needs to be updated and includes the following benefits: Full Bore, Careful rounds, Adjusted stocki Long March. The latter perk allows Guardians to spot enemies on radar from further away. Additionally, the Acrius legend has the Shock Blast intrinsic trait, which fires high-damage arc energy to overpenetrate enemies. The downside is that the gun only holds two rounds in the magazine. Fortunately, Guardians can complete Nightfall Strikes Destination 2 for a chance to be rewarded with the Legend of Acrius Catalyst. This expands the magazine size from 2 to 6 shots. Also, the total ammo it has is increased, along with the weapon’s reload speed. Unfortunately, players will need to defeat 500 enemies to unlock the Catalyst.
Legend of Acrius is a powerful shotgun Destination 2. However, players may be disappointed without the Catalyst, as having only two rounds in the magazine significantly limits the weapon’s potential. It is recommended to equip both the shotgun ammo finder and the backup mods to get the most out of Legend of Acrius. Guardians should buy this fun exotic to prepare for Arc 3.0 in Season 18.
Destination 2 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Google Stadia.
