As members of the far-left “Squad” warn of the dangers of dark money in politics, a prominent committee working to swell its ranks in Congress has received a major cash injection from unknown donors, according to federal documents reviewed by Fox News Digital.
Democrats for Justice PAC, which propelled New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Missouri Rep. Cori Bush to office, received $300,000 from the Organization for Justice in May, Commission records show Federal election. The money was parked in the committee’s non-contribution account, which can be used in ads supporting or opposing candidates.
Organize for Justice is the sister non-profit organization of the Justice Democrats PAC. The nonprofit hides its funders, making it virtually impossible to identify who is behind the six-figure cash infusion, which is also its largest donation for the 2022 election cycle.
However, this is not the only time they have received support from a source that hides its donors. Way to Win, a left-leaning nonprofit that also supports far-left politicians in the mold of Justice Democrats, directed $100,000 to the PAC in 2020, its filings show.

The donation goes against the beliefs of many of the politicians he helped elect.
Ocasio-Cortez — who was not only elected primarily with the help of Justice Democrats, but also previously appeared as the group’s “governor” on paperwork — believes dark money is “destroying our democracy, our country and our planet”.
“Dark money is used to manipulate voters,” Ocasio-Cortez said in 2018. “It’s the enemy of democracy. Period.”
“When politicians and corporations wove their dark web of campaign finance, they created a ticking time bomb for foreign adversaries,” he continued. “To make our democracy more secure, we have to take out a lot of money.”

The justice democrats, for their part, have experienced a mixed electoral cycle, with more negatives than positives.
The group scored a victory in Pennsylvania with Summer Lee, who narrowly won the Democratic primary in the state’s 12th Congressional District.
However, two races in Illinois did not go in his favor. Marie Newman, who currently represents Illinois’ third congressional district, lost her primary bid to represent the state’s newly redrawn sixth congressional district against incumbent Rep. Sean Casten.

And Kina Collins, who previously served President Joe Biden transition team and gun violence prevention task force, failed to secure his party’s nomination to represent Illinois’ 7th congressional district. Collins faced incumbent Rep. Danny Davis.
Justice Democrats did not respond to a request from Fox News Digital for comment on its dark money.
