The battle is divided into two phases where the first phase will consist of close range combat. Hjalmgunnar will try to hit Odin with his scythe. Don’t try to parry, as most of the fire giant’s attacks cannot be countered; simply grab and roll, then prepare to hit during Hjalmgunnar’s cooldown. Odin should be able to take a few hits before the fire giant continues his attacks. Keep hitting during the vulnerable moments after the fire giant’s strong attacks; eventually, his health will drop to half and trigger the next phase.

Odin will have to deal with the close range attacks of the first phase as well as the ranged fire attacks. A the red wave will deploy during Hjalmgunnar’s heavy attack, which means a firestorm. Players must dodge and get close to the giant before the fire is unleashed. Once in the inner circle, more fireballs will fall and players can simply dodge these attacks and hit Hjalmgunnar. The eye, as powerful as it can be, is also an excellent target. A few arrows and well-timed attacks should bring Hjalmgunnar to his knees.
