Can Eiko Nagisawa keep Gotham City going as Catwoman during Selina’s absence?
The synopsis of the text by Catwoman DC Comics #52 reveals more details about Selina being locked up behind bars and befriending criminals while sharing that Eiko Hasigawa will be patrolling Gotham City in her place. DC’s new Catwoman will be quite busy as she will be assisted by the anti-hero, Tomcat.
It seems that the cat is the new black in Gotham’s prison, as Selina quickly finds herself working her way as the queen cat behind bars by making friends with all the wrong types (who, of course, are also exactly her ). Meanwhile, Eiko Hasigawa continues to roam the streets of Gotham as Catwoman keeping mob bosses in check, with a little help from…Tomcat.
Eiko Hasigawa has plenty of experience dealing with criminal enterprises, so even though she has a dark past, DC’s new Catwoman seems well-equipped to handle the defense of Gotham City while Selina Kyle is locked up for murder. Can she stay on the straight and narrow, or will Batman come knocking on her door? The cover by David Nakayama Catwoman #52 of DC Comics hits comic shops in February 2023.
