Regardless of whether players are looking for the broken pot or Cracked pot like the evolutionary items needed for Sinistea, both can be found through the Auction house location, which becomes available after advancing far enough from the main narrative. The Cracked Pot appears more often here than the Chipped Pot, encouraging players to return to this location often to find the right item to give Sinistea for evolution. The unique nature of Sinistea among the other types of ghosts present in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet making it a fascinating addition to any player’s team if they want to use the unorthodox Pokémon in future battles.

Completing the Pokédex means players will need to find both versions of Sinistea and thus items to add both forms of Polteageist to their record. Additionally, there will be two different pieces of data that explain the nature of these Pokemon once players have captured and evolved them, giving a better look at how these ghosts are reflected in the world’s society, for better or for worse. With limited places to look, thankfully reducing the distance players have to travel in the Paldea region, evolving Sinistea into Polteageist takes time and moving through the main story of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet enough to get the right items.
