Obi-Wan’s relationship with Satine is one of the most fascinating additions to the Jedi character. The Clone Wars and one of the best, leading to great stories, emotional moments, and funny jokes like this one from Anakin.
This nervous, stuttering response from Obi-Wan is a response to Anakin referring to the Duchess as his girlfriend, and it’s both funny and adorable. Satine and Obi-Wan’s story is one of duty and tragedy, but it’s so beautiful to watch it unfold, constantly putting a smile on fans’ faces while also providing a few laughs like this one.

The odd pairing of Anakin/Obi-Wan with Count Dooku makes this whole exchange fun, especially with their unique and juxtaposed personalities. The highlight of their time together from a humor standpoint is this moment, which brings out the cheekiness of the three powerful Force users. Hondo Ohnaka, 2.17 “Bounty Hunters”

Like Hondo himself, the date is a riot. The fact that neither he nor his crew likely know what insolence means, along with his laugh, his delivery, and who he’s talking to help make this line one of The Clone Wars more fun The juxtaposition of Maul’s focused, rage-filled demeanor with Hondo’s blaster-toting, devil-may-care pirate self is a brilliant image that the writers thankfully paired with a hilarious quote.
